Registration/entry forms are to be completed on-line through the website and an Official Authorization Form must be printed and then signed by the respective State 4-H Director/Leader or State FFA Advisor and mailed with full payment to:

Important dates to remember

October 5 On-line registration opens
November 30 Late registration begins ($50 per person)
December 10 Registration closes

Participation Information: Each person registering for Western National Roundup will need to choose one of the following participation types:

  • Roundup: Delegate, Chaperon or Guest
  • Consumer Decision Making: Contestant, Coach or Guest
  • FCS Presentations: Contestant, Coach or Guest
  • FCS Bowl: Contestant, Coach or Guest
  • Fashion Revue: Contestant, Coach or Guest
  • FCS Skill-a-Thon: Contestant, Coach or Guest
  • Hippology: Contestant, Coach or Guest
  • Horse Bowl: Contestant, Coach or Guest
  • Horse Demonstration Individual: Contestant, Coach or Guest
  • Horse Demonstration Team: Contestant, Coach or Guest
  • Horse Public Speaking: Contestant, Coach or Guest
  • Horse Judging: Contestant, Coach or Guest
  • Meats Judging: Contestant, Coach or Guest
  • Livestock Judging: Contestant, Coach or Guest
  • Prepared Speech: Contestant, Coach or Guest
  • Impromptu Speech: Contestant, Coach or Guest
  • Parliamentary Procedure: Contestant, Coach or Guest

Please Note: Guests are non-delegates, non-contestants - parents, siblings, friends etc.

All those in attendance at Western National Roundup must register for one of the following packages:

Package A - Is designed for each youth contestant and delegate. It includes:

Registration and event t-shirt
Workshops
Contest Fee
Friday, Saturday Breakfasts
Friday dinner, opening banquet and dance
Contestant or Delegate lunch
Saturday Night Activity (includes dinner)
Sunday Awards Breakfast
Access to all Event Photos including State Photos and Team Photos
National Western Stock Show pass
Total Cost: $325

Package B - Is designed for each adult and guest. It includes:

Registration and event t-shirt
Workshops
Friday, Saturday breakfasts
Friday dinner, opening banquet and dance
Contestant or Delegate lunch
Saturday Night Activity (includes dinner)
Sunday Awards Breakfast
National Western Stock Show pass
Access to all Event Photos including State Photos and Team Photos
Total Cost: $295

Package C - "Partial Registration" - Is designed for attending only the Sunday Breakfast. It includes:

Partial Registration and event t-shirt
Sunday Breakfast
Access to all Event Photos including State Photos and Team Photos
National Western Stock Show pass
Total: $50

Package D - Is an optional "Judging Only" package available for each Livestock or Meats contestant, coach or guest not attending the Wednesday, Thursday, Friday events nor the Friday banquet. It includes:

Registration and event t-shirt
Contest and Activity Fees
Contestant Lunch
Saturday Night Activity (includes dinner)
Sunday Awards Breakfast
Access to all Event Photos including State Photos and Team Photos
National Western Stock Show pass
Total: $175

Optional Packages and Activities

These activities are open to all Western National Roundup participants, coaches, parents and guests and will be part of the registration. These items are optional and are not required!

Tours: Tour options and prices to be determined. Tours may include one or more of Colorado Springs, Denver, Northern Colorado, or Ski trip

Apparel - by Northwest Designs:

100% personalized apparel can be purchased on-site at hotel with Roundup logo, team member name(s), and contest.
  T-Shirts: $15-26
  Long Sleeve Shirts: $20-35
  Tie-Dyed T-Shirts: $24-35
  Tie-Dyed Long Sleeve Shirts: $25-40
  Hoodies: $40-55
  Sweatpants: $25

Late Fee: $50 per person

Registration is open from October 5 to November 30. A $50 per person late registration fee will automatically be added to all registrations entered from November 30 to December 10. Registrations will close at midnight December 10.

Photo Release

All participants at Roundup must sign (or have their parent/guardian sign) the photo release form and include it as part of their registration.
